Weekly Wednesday Archive #11

Hi,

Wednesdays seem to come around so quickly.  This week is a card I made in 2011. It was made for a birthday for my mother.  It was well received, but then all mums love what their children make and gift them.  I know I do :)

I made all the flowers from scrapbooking paper

All the product used to make the card is retired Stampin Up apart from the plain coloured cardstock.

Weekly Wednesday Archive #10

Hi all,

This weeks archive card is c.2012 and was made for a show and share board at a Regional Stampin Up event held in Brisbane.  At the time the card was made the products used were current which was one of the criteria for the show and share.  It is to give people ideas and inspiration for products that are for sale in the current catalogue.  Alas most of the products now are retired.

Anyways without further ado;

The Card

The card front has had a piece removed forming a gap which is then held together with randomly butterflies that have been stamped in various colours and punched using the punch to match.

The sentiment is stamped directly onto the background and the frame over the top is paper glued to lightweight chipboard and die cut using a framelit die using the Big Shot.  I then placed the frame over the top of the sentiment.  The small butterfly placed on the frame has a body which is a paper bead made from rolling some paper tightly, similar to quilling.  The antennas are thin strips of paper with the ends curled.

Card Concept Challenge #27 Love

Hi,

Sharing my entry in the Card Concept Challenge #27 Love based on the inspiration image below.  I am entering in the Shabby Chic/Vintage category again.

Here is my interpretation

An Easel Card

This cute bear is a Stamp It stamp.
Coloured with copic markers.

Had a blast making this card.  Think I will stick with this category at The Card Concept as I'm enjoying this style and maybe I can use up some of my over burdened craft product stash.

Thanks for stopping by.
